BBI - Inverse Probes

Double Resonance Broadband Probe (BBI) - An extensively used inverse tunable multinuclear probe, optimized for 1H applications.

The inner coil of these versatile probes is optimized for1H observation while the outer coil is tuneable over a frequency range that permits decoupling of nuclei between31P and15N, depending on probe configuration. You can simply switch between decoupling nuclei using an automated tuning and matching device (ATM).

Bruker’s Tuneable Multinuclear Probes are the inverse equivalent of BBO probes and are often called Broadband Inverse Probes. These probes are used extensively for popular experiments like HSQC, HMQC, and HMBC. They are also used for proton1D experiments with X-Nucleus decoupling and experiments requiring solvent suppression. With the widest tuning range in the industry, both1D and multidimensional experiments can be performed with a variety of nuclei. The inner coil of Bruker’s BBI Probe is optimized for1H observation while the outer coil can be tuned from31P to15N.
