NG Test^®SARS-CoV-2 Ag detects a nucleocapsid protein of SARS-CoV-2. The test is regularly validated for detection of new strains and mutations such as the VOC202012/1 variant (also known as B.1.1.7 or “UK strain”). For most recent information please refer to the instructions for use.

NG Test^®SARS-CoV-2 Ag was assessed in clinical studies on nasopharyngeal samples from more than 200 patients, including 100 positive samples, confirmed by RT PCR. The overall specificity was evaluated at 100% with IC95% [96-100%]. Detailed results are presented in the following tables:
